How do I move a global variable to another sheet?

Get help using Construct 2

Hi,

subject says it all. I like to refactor the 'code' constantly, and I always try to prevent global variables. But sometimes - in the first run - they come in handy or I placed them on a sheet where - later on - I don't want them anymore.

Moving globals is not so easy, when they are embedded in action or events, as they are directly deleted.

Any solutions for this? I'd love to be able to switch the autocorrect-mode of C2 off, do my stuff, and then turn it back on.

Just cut and paste. Ignore the warning - the deleted events will come back when you paste the variables back in.

Oh thank you very very much. I never dared going on any further, after all the events were gone.

You can also right click the global variable and "move to event sheet"

@Yann: Bang, Bang, Bang on my head. How could I oversee this?
Thanks Yann.
