How do I move text vertically without the text box rotating

Get help using Construct 2

Post » Wed Nov 23, 2016 3:27 am

My immediate issue is I want to have the text box move vertically upwards without the text box rotating counter clockwise.

In the long run what I am working on is to have text (which loads from a file) scroll vertically on the right hand side of the layout. I've got to the point where I have the text box load from an array. But it moves to the right and when I adjust any of the angle of motion parameters, the text box will move in that direction, but it also rotates.

Thanx in advance for any help.

I know I am going to kick myself when someone tells me how simple this is to achieve.

This is because you have likely added the bullet behavior to your Text object, and did not set the "Set angle" property of the behavior to "No".
Do it and the angle of your text object won't change.
