How do I pin a canon to a self moving tank ?

Hi guys, I have a problem. I hav e applied to the cannon a pin beh. and the tank is a sprite that is moving horizontaly by itself ( enemy).
I made this: sistem-every tick > canon is pin to tank object.
But the cannon is not moving at all... do U know why ???

Ok sorry, I changed it to "by start of layout"...now it works...my question is...can I make it rotate alone ( but still pinned to the tank) by following with a rotation and shooting enemies ( only the cannon !) ?

Just choose "location only" while pinning..
You should be able to rotate the cannon seperately when doing so..
I told my dentist I had trouble with my teeth and asked her to fix it without looking in my mouth..

Yeah you only need to "pin" once. then the objects are stuck together until you "unpin"

And i think littlestain meant to say use "position" only i think is the correct term while pinning

Yep @justifun is right, position only..

I mostly respond from memory, without C2 to check my statements and things like the right term can go wrong, apologies..
