How do I player die?

Hey Everyone;

I'm messing around with ways to have the player die in style on a platform type runner... thinking of like mario bro's or sonic when he hits an enemy he kinda freezes in the air looses all his coins and flashes and shakes a bit... how can this be pulled off in C2?

What I have tried is when player contacts enemy i was having his potions reset to about 18 pixels both higher and lower seeming as if he was tossed up - but it glitches and sometimes dont work...

so my question is any examples out there of players dying in style...

You can set die animation frames with different image point positions, So when the animation play it's will look like shake.
