How do I Resign and zipalign an Apk the second time

Get help using Construct 2

Post » Fri Apr 18, 2014 2:22 pm

I got my app on the market about a week ago. I made a change to the app recently.
I saved my keystore file from the first publish.
I attempted to resign it and zip align it. Every thing works good no errors in the command prompt.

When i upload it to market and test it a few hours later it says the apk was not signed correctly.

Has anyone had this issue? Any ideas how to fix it?

Thanks
Josh

IF anyone has this issue heres how i solved it. Instead of using the first line of code below I used the second.
Not sure why this worked but it did.

jarsigner -verbose -keystore C:\Users\asdf\Desktop\Android\Android.BGL.keystore C:\Users\asdf\Desktop\Android\TBL.apk BGL

jarsigner -verbose -sigalg SHA1withRSA -digestalg SHA1 -keystore C:\Users\asdf\Desktop\Android\Android.BGL.keystore C:\Users\asdf\Desktop\Android\TBL.apk BGL

@jjanikowski - you get auto-zipalign and auto-signing if you use Intel XDK instead of CocoonJs, just a head's up.

Thanks for the hint. I tried intel but it didn't work with mopub or admob from what I was told.
