How do I rotating from left to right.

Get help using Construct 2

Hello everyone, I'm trying to make a move a little complicated.

this would be the full motion ..

Rotating from left to right at the top of the screen. If the player presses the mouse the state turns to…

shoot: the hook moves in a fixed direction (the one it had when the player pressed the mouse) until it hits a gem or flies off the screen. Then the state turns again to…

rewind: the hook returns, in a straight path, to its initial position and changes the state to rotate, allowing the player to shoot again.

this is possible?..

Thank in advance

Bumping the post after less than three hours is somewhat frowned upon - maybe have a read through https://www.scirra.com/forum/tips-for-posting-in-the-quot-how-do-i-quot-forum_t62843 ?

How far have you got ? Can you rotate the "rope" ? Have you looked at using sine, set to angle ? Expanding the rope could be done with setting its width using a loop (for/next).

Can you post a link to your capx ?

If I understand your post right you are after something like https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/143636437/temp/yoyo/index.html ?

(the capx for this is a little rough to say the least - I will try to clean it up a little and post it (tomorrow if I get time)
August 2015 - I misplaced a lot of links - I will try to find backups and repost. If You find a post that interests please reply to post with @rampackwobble and I will get a nudge!
