How do I scroll items horizontally and vertically?

How do I scroll items horizontally and vertically?
I have an array of random sprites which I can scroll horizontally when I swipe them.
I would like to be able to swipe vertically to show another array of sprites, which I can then swipe horizontally again.
Image
As you can see from the image - on the left are the categories of the different arrays of images.
So as I swipe down, another lot of images are loaded > then swipe horizontally to view all the images.
Swipe down again to another category and so on.
Hope I explained this clearly enough.
Thanks for the future help.
Josh.

try using slidebars, is the easiest method and most accurate. plus the slidebar i think it can be customized with CSS(im pretty sure it takes css did not used them in a while) and you can make it look like a part of the game.

or try this swipe tutorialhas inertia also

i gave you a tutorial with capx, in the same section if you type "swipe menu" you will find multiple answers, the only difference is that the swipe menus are using horizontal movement or vertical, you need both :) but u just need to copy paste the same code and change the coordonates of movement from x to y

Is there any way of doing this without letting it move at angles
So it either moves vertical or horizontal with no angled movement

Thats what I mean.
If you allow both axis' then diagonal movement is allowed.
Just horizontal and vertical movement is required.
