How do I set Multi-Touch using Joystick Controls

Get help using Construct 2

Hey Devs,

I'm trying to set Multi-Touch using Joystick controls, the problem I'm having is when & while the player is touching either one of the Joystick pads they are unable to use the other pad at the same time.

I'd like to be able to use move (left pad) & aim/rotate (right pad) simultaneously - right now I am unable to do so properly and I've included a capx to show & better explain what I mean

I'm at work now, but I'll take a look later if you haven't solved it yet.

On a first glance, I'd guess the problem is with the isSelected variable.

@Brunopalermo yeah I haven't solved it yet, the joysticks each have their own "Selected" instance variable , so I don't believe it has to do with that but if you can take a look I'd appreciate that. & I'll stay to true to my word with the discount.

There were some actions missing, but I don't know if that was the issue..
Cant test multitouch right now, so at least you have your events correct like this..

@LittleStain thanks for giving it a try. It seems that now I can do (50% of the goal) multi touch by aiming/rotating first then moving
but I would also like to be able to move then aim/rotate

you would like the character to rotate (set direction) while moving too?

you could do that by adding a condition

if not touching thumbstick2 - rotate
to thumbstick1 controls..

that way when thumbstick2 is used to rotate, thumbstick one won't interfere..

@LittleStain Thanks but that only works under the condition that I'm not touching the other joystick at all, I'd like to be able to use both joysticks at the same time.

@LittleStain I wasn't able to simultaneously move & rotate/aim using both joysticks at the same time, I appreciate the effort though means a lot to me .
