How do I set ping-pong by Event?

Get help using Construct 2

Post » Fri Jul 11, 2014 10:19 pm

I either can't find this condition, or it's simply missing.
I can't seem to set an animation to property Ping-Pong (reverse the animation) by EVENT!

Could someone enlighten me?

Of course, i could load in another animation set, and create the animation backwards on my own.
But there's already the ping-pong property setting, and it would be great to simply set the property by event so i can trigger it easier and save on used graphics.

@caplocks1111 - that's not exactly what was asked for :)

@Everade - as far as I know you can't set Ping-Ping on animations using an action, but you can get an animation to play in reverse by setting a negative animation speed.

See example capx: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/905 ... ation.capx

In the example, the animation has Loop set to No and Ping-Pong set to No, but will reverse and loop just by using an event to change the animation speed from positive to negative and vice versa when the animation stops and restarting from the current frame.
