How do I spawn enemies into specific paths

Get help using Construct 2

Post » Mon Sep 01, 2014 4:10 am

I am creating a space shooter game and the enemy spawning and movement in the Construct demo project, though decent, is not exactly what I am looking for. I am looking for a bit more of the classic movement styles.
Please see screenshots below. Can anyone point me into the right direction?

I found a way to do this. It is not exactly how I initially wanted, its a bit more manual than Id like, but it will do for now for I can move on and continue the project. I'll post the .capx file shortly.

Not by any means perfect but, might give you some ideas.

Another idea is you can use the "wait" action with actions to change angle and turning speed in between.

@fscopel I'll have to check this out as a possibility, I ended up binding my ship movement to left mouse button hold to achieve the smooth movement, so that's an option too unless you'd prefer keys, :).
