How do I Switch Between Mouse Cursor Types?

Get help using Construct 2

Post » Wed Aug 13, 2014 1:44 pm

I made a sort of menu-thingy where you have to click on a monitor to access the title menu options (start, continue, options, etc.) and I want the mouse to change to the hand when it overlays the monitor. I managed to get that working, however, when I move the cursor away from the monitor, it doesn't change back to the default.

I figured doing an event of all other objects and making it so when the mouse went over something else, it changed back, but it's staying stuck on the hand style.

Can anyone help fix this? I uploaded the .capx in the attachments if you need to take a look.

added Else event..

You should however change the collision-polygon for your screen in the whole animation (It's only correct in frame 0)

I told my dentist I had trouble with my teeth and asked her to fix it without looking in my mouth..

Could you just screenshot the event page (I'm using release 173 and you're using 176)?

Sorry if it was obvious, I'm awful at this sort of thing.
