How do I (Timer and Start Menu)

Get help using Construct 2

Okay so I have a start menu but how do I set it so that when I play my game it is the first thing to come up?

And also, I want to make a simple timer with a high score from that timer, something like (High Score: Current Score:)
How long I survive and the longer I survive the high score is replaced?

If your star menu is just a separate layout You can set that layout as a First layout in Project settings

for timers you can use 2 variables. Global number Score and Global number CurrentScore

for time counter you can use
Every second add 1 to CurrentScore

for highscore you can do
CurrentScore > Score -> set Score to CurrentScore

Score visible. So players can see both their high score and what they have at that time.

(I've pretty much finished my game, been stuck on this for over half an hour lol)

Use Text or Spritefont and then set Text.text to Score variables

Tried to follow it quickly. I encountered some problems. You can't see your score go up. Once you die the your score comes up. High Score won't update... Could you look at this screenshot and see if you know where I went wrong? As the other page doesn't highlight it well.
