Get help using Construct 2

Post » Mon Jan 19, 2015 1:01 pm

Hello,

I have an mobile app. I want to make use of the mobile phone keyboard. I tried to achieve it with the "text box" element but it doesnt work. I didnt find threads on this topic in the forum.

There manual doesnt state how to do it, neither... :-(

Has anybody an idea how to use the mobile phone keyoard? I hope s.b. has!

Thanks in advance!

You can easily roll your own. It'll probably mean having to deal with the text functions like mid() etc. for a more automatic setup.

I guess it's not universal then - I'm running android 5.1 and the text box brings up the system keyboard when I tap it (running the layout in chrome for android).
I only occasionally visit - I'm learning C# for Unity, but c2 is still a respectable game engine imo....
