500 monsters and creatures images for card games - Set 1
  • What is more memory and speed efficient, 50 images in one animation object and referenced by frame number or 50 seperate PNG images? In case of creating a puzzle, i use now 2 animations for placement of the puzzle pieces. Then when overlap occures i compare the animation frames of the one on the background and the one dragged over. Is that the way to go?

    Thanks for your help.

  • I don't think there are any different really. 50 images are 50 images. You could probably argue that making 50 individually images would have a bigger impact since it would have to take the objects into account, but I think that would be such a little impact that it would be a lot more efficient to just reduce the image size by 1 pixel.

Anyway not 100% sure, its just what I think

    Yeah that should work fine.
