Post » Thu Sep 29, 2016 3:54 pm

Hello everyone. I want that player does wall jump like the New Super Mario Bros. wall jump style. I mean, the wall jump to left would be on jump button and right button. Also, that the player can slide on the wall.

Thankk you so much and sorry for my English. :D

@Gmoney I invoke you xD

haha, it was only 1 hour 10 minutes between posts

...and usually more people help if you attempt to create it and ask for help when you have issues.

Wall slide - decrease max fall speed while wall sliding and change animation

Wall jump - when in contact (wall left/right) with wall and input detected then bump Y vector

Also, these feature are quite commonplace and if you search you can probably find lots of tutorials and forum posts on these topics. So instead of mocking "the community" help yourself first and others will help.

I'm so sorry for replying so late, Nestorj66. :(

You mean like this? :D

Try jumping toward either left or right wall.

Then press [UP] to wall jump.

After jumping, hold either [RIGHT] or [LEFT] to go to the other side and press [UP] again to bounce from that wall as well.

You'll be able to bounce around and reach the top at ease.

I learned how to wall jump from this tutorial, so the credito goes to maxlive2010.

You are welcome! And press Tab to cycle through the different ones, if that note goes unnoticed.
