Hi!
I'm sorry about the lack of info in the thread name but didn't know how to call it.
My problem is with the input:

Basically, in the wall jump I would like the Player to ignore other input apart the keys that are set for the wall jump

The controls for the capx are:

Run: left, right keys
Jump: up key
Wall Jump: Up to jump towards wall and then press the other direction (if you jump facing right wall press left and up keys to wall jump to the right.

Presently I can spam the controls to keep wall jumping on the same wall

The capx file: https://www.dropbox.com/s/xaqr2srlv9qip0o/test.capx

Thanks in advance !

Cheers

I'm sorry for this shameless bump but I'm still trying to figure this out. I tried using ignore input but with no results.
also tried adding a new line in which I reset the vectors x and y to 0 but then my character wall glides without falling as I intended it.

Cheers!

This is the updated .capx file

https://www.dropbox.com/s/xaqr2srlv9qip0o/test.capx

The controls are specified on the first post of this thread.
I'm sure there's a much more elegant solution for this mess so if anyone got a better solution or ways
to improve it let me know :)

The character can wall glide and after a certain distance it falls. For now I can wall jump indefinitely but I'll be adding a stamina bar and also adding a piece of code to avoid being able to wall jump after the Player has been falling for x amount of time or distance.

I'm still a looooong way to go before I can finally start working on the visuals but hey, this is fun!

Cheers!
