How do I

I have been working on a project for a while and out of nowhere it doesn't export anymore.

It says "unknown error during export"

I have uninstalled and reinstalled construct 2 using steam twice. An older project I have seems to export without any problems.

I'm using chrome and windows 10.

Don't know what to do. Don't want to have to start over from scratch. Any suggestions?

I just deleted a layout that I had recently modified and now the project exports fine. Not sure what would have caused this but I'm going to create separate save files for backup in the future in case this happens again. I had deleted a few layouts and duplicated a few right before this happened. Also renamed a few to older layouts names. Not sure if that had anything to do with it.

Renaming layout names and deleting layouts can cause those problems.

I always save project as a single file before doing anything that might be a major change to a game layout that is working and before I export in case it crashes. Just a good habit to get in to.
