How does W8 handles HTML5?

Discussion and feedback on Construct 2

I'm not really into W8 (and I don't plan on using it very soon), but I heard that it handles HTML5 as a standalone application. Does that mean, that I have to submit my game to the Store, or it works like that if I just put my game on a W8 based PC?

I hope it can be understood

Currently you can test your app by yourself with Visual Studio 2012, but you can't install a Modern UI app on another device bypassing Windows store.

You can install apps on multiple devices just fine, you'll just need a valid development license:http://blogs.msdn.com/b/matt-harrington/archive/2012/04/14/how-to-share-your-metro-style-windows-8-app-with-another-developer.aspx
