How is the XOR blend mode supposed to work?

Get help using Construct 2

Simply put, I went into the Blend modes example capx, changed one of the cog's mode to XOR, and... nothing happens. It looks 100% identical to the "None" cog, in the editor and in the browser. Everything else works fine.

Am I missing something here? Is there something else I'm supposed to do?

XOR blend mode is not supported in the WebGL renderer. So you'll have to disable WebGL or use IE to see the XOR effect. I've been considering removing it actually - it's kind of the 'odd one out' as far as the blend mode goes. It's also not very useful - it does a bitwise XOR on the integer representation of the RGB channels, which looks rather strange... WebGL shaders tend to provide better alternatives.
