How many Construct2 Developers in the USA

Discussion and feedback on Construct 2

Post » Wed Apr 11, 2012 8:01 pm

Hi!
I'm very glad that Construct is known in U.S. I live in Colorado. I just recent joined to the forum and I started learning Construct 2. Right now, I'm trying to make some trial-error demos in order to learn Construct interface and functions. The ad doesn't specify what states Microsoft looking for, East or West Coast or the place doesn't matter?

Well, I think is good that Construct is recognized overseas.

I'm also in the US and interested. I've used PhoneGap in the past to publish a non-Construct 2 app to iOS. I've also written a couple apps in Silverlight for WP7.

Definitely like to hear more.

To all those asking why USA only? As many guessed I am assigned to the USA market. Although for Windows Phone 7 I am based in Central ie Chicago my reach out is to anyone in the USA. That said if we can make this work then we would of course want to do the same in any country where Windows Phone 7 has a marketplace.

I will be reading through this entire thread this evening US Central time but wanted to get this response out quickly to ensure everyone realises that what I want is to enable Construct tool developers to get their apps onto Microsoft marketplaces

thanks and more laterJonnyBritish2012-04-11 20:22:28

This kind of thing should be also easy to do in the EU area.

Hello

Over the next few days I will be taking a Construct2 app and feeding it into phonegap to see how well it performs on Phone 7. So far I have seen impressive performance with construct2 and Canvas2d on our Windows Phone 7 platform. In addition and to be totally open I personally have have stunned with the quality of many titles here on scirra.com. Ashley and team is attracting great talent in both gaming and graphics. If we can wrap a construct2 title somehow for Windows Phone 7 it would be awesome. I will let you know what I find. Perhaps for example we can a competition where we specify how a phone app can work with Construct2 and see what is delivered.

Either way I am very pleased to have come across www.scirra.comJonnyBritish2012-04-12 05:47:14
