How many Overlaped Objects (Overlap Count)

Get help using Construct 2

Please Help me guys!

I want to get how many Objects are being overlaped by my 'Catcher' object.
I've tried by Catcher.PickedCount but seems not working.

And how its possible to verify if the overlaped objects are only from the same type?

Here's the CAPX: Overlap Count.capx

You put all the overlapping objects in a family , then you do ;

Family1 | Is Overlapping Catcher
- (Sub-event) Set Variable1 to Family1.PicketCount

Otherwise , there's no instances to pick if there's no condition to sort those instances , that's the easiest way to do it .

What you did was wrong , because you had no condition to pick and that would result ( I think ) in picking all the object instances and you were picking the catcher , and not the objects that were overlapping to it Whiteclaws2013-05-20 21:51:15

Thank you!

But how to check if its of the same type?
Will I have to create a Catcher for each Block Color?
