Make a global variable called Score, for example. Every time you kill an enemy or whatever, add to that variable.

Make a text objet (or text sprite) in the second layout. Then call that variable from the event sheet (use Set text "Score :" & Score)alvarop2014-01-31 13:52:51

If your score is held by a global variable you could use

on start of layout
- set text: GlobalVariableScore
I told my dentist I had trouble with my teeth and asked her to fix it without looking in my mouth..
If your score is held by a global variable you could use

on start of layout
- set text: GlobalVariableScore
i still need instruction about this.

in layout 1,i have already make the text automatically count the score when playing, then if the player died, the scores will be appear on Layout 2.

Are you understand?

How do you make the text count the score?

Best way is to use a global variable and set it to score, then display the global variable in the text.

You need to create a global variable to keep the score "in memory". Then you need to create a text object and use what he said.

If you're using a text object to count the score (?) you're doing it wrong.alvarop2014-01-31 14:03:13

It can be two things:
1) you created a local variable. Must be global.
2) If you used global variables, you may have used the 'reset global variables' command. I see no other way.
Check your sheet again or send an capx
