Hello
I'm new in Construct. And I wonder how I can create a story in the game introduction.MaxAzevedo2013-04-25 08:20:10

Hi @MaxAzevedo

You can use sprites with animation frames on a dedicated layout.
Just add your sprite objects then user the animation property panel to manage the different frames of your sprite animation.

To create a story, it all depends on your creativity ... try to relate the things you like.

For character creation, you can use a program called GraphicsGale serving especially for creating sprites ... but if you do not know very well how to draw the sprite, make a larger version in a program for editing and then just decrease the image, adjusting the pixels that were misfits.

Hope I helped

Depends on the style of the intro.

You want comic style? beufreecasse's suggestion is the way to go.

You want the same style as ingame (sprites with with speech bubbles etc)? Checkout out the timeline plugin in the Plugins section. That will help you with the timing of dialogue etc.

I want a relatively simple introduction. I believe with sprites and text box passing the story is enough. Thank you for the tips, I'll search. (Sorry if I wrote something wrong, I do not speak English very well)

I would also like to know if there is any examples or tutorial on how to make this. I want like an opening that shows my name before the game menu. Maybe from that example, I can make a story intro or speech bubbles that tells the story.

Thanks in advance,

John
