  • Sorry for asking so many questions, I'm new here and trying to create one big hell of a game <img src="smileys/smiley2.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

I tried to set the background size to a bigger size but the area the player can move in is still very limited.

Is there a way to make the area the game will take place in bigger?

  • I don't get what you are saying.

Did you mean layout size, window size or canvas size?

Sorry my english is not very good.

I mean The Area the player can move in.

  • That could still refer to either "window size" or "layout size". The definition "an area the player can move in" is applicable to both, but they are different things.

To change either, you do so via the properties bar.

For window size you select the project folder in the project bar and in the properties bar you should se "Window Size" under "Project settings".

The same thing applies to changing the layout size, but you select the layout you want to alter instead of the project folder, in the project bar.

Most basic questions like this can be solved by reading the manual.

Im not sure you are saying, i guess you should use ScrollTo in behavior, where the player can move any where and unlimited.

Im not sure you are saying, i guess you should use ScrollTo in behavior, where the player can move any where and unlimited. I AM using scroll to behavior but the movement area is still limited, when I am going to "layout1" there are black lines on the layout and when I am playing my game the black lines are invisible but they still limits my movement and I can't get out of the lines limits, my question is, how can I make this black square bigger so I can go farther

  • Never mind, I found out myself, it was the layout size.

    Anyway thanks for your answers.

  • So you answered yourself :)
