How to make the 'Monsters' health increase.

So, say I have a character who shoots and his bullets do one Point off the other units "Health." After I kill said monster how can I make it where the health of the next monsters to spawn gains by, say, 2? I'm not sure if what I'm asking is clear, but any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Make a global variable MonstersDestroyed

On monster destroyed add 1 to variable
on monster created set monster.health to 10+2*Monsterdestroyed
I told my dentist I had trouble with my teeth and asked her to fix it without looking in my mouth..
