How to redeem play store promo codes in-game

I have my events set up so on Purchase succeeded > Consume product.

When I go to the in-game store > Redeem > it shows it went through but on the next window it says "You already own this product". And in the game it doesn't show up that i have any of the item purchased.

Does anyone know how to get this working?

Does anyone know how to implement promo/redeem codes into a C2 game?

As in, how do i need to set up the events/actions after the promo/redeem code goes through so the game on my end recognizes it as a purchase? Instead of saying "You already own this product".

I assume you use Cranberry's plugin as Scirra's IAP plugin doesn't even have this feature. Or you use Cocoon plugins?

Either way consuming should work when you just run "consume" action after purchasing the product so if it doesn't then I suggest to contact plugin's author as this technology changes frequently and plugins require constant updates.

Thank you. Sir for the reply. I actually got it working, but i had to move the "Consume" action down a couple spots.

As in the pic, i have a GV for the number of shields that gets saved and displayed after purchase. I think it was consuming them before they were set.
