For questions about using Classic.

Unfortunately I imported all of my frames backwards, is there any way to just reverse the animation to make it look normal?

in the animation tab, select all the frames, right click them, and click Flip frames horizontally

I mean reversing the order it's played in, so that the frames would be played from back to forward. Like if I had a walking forward animation, I want to reverse it so it plays backwards, so it looks like he's walking backwards.

Can't you just drag the frames to the order they should be in? Shouldn't be too hard if you don't have a ton of frames.

I just did that to a Game Maker game I made that had 72 frames, it only took a few minutes.
