  • Interesting article from the Guardian.

    http://www.guardian.co.uk/technology/appsblog/2012/mar/19/blackberry-web-apps

Essentially there are markets for HTML5 apps for Blackberry and HP. Interesting quote from the Blackberry guy: "About 13% of vendors actually make $100k or more selling their apps on our store."

Now which drawer did I toss that old Blackberry into? <img src="smileys/smiley2.gif" border="0" align="middle">

  • the % was a typo, it's actually supposed to say "About 13 of vendors actually make $100k or more selling their apps on our store."

joking aside, I'm curious how these webapps perform, though blackberry's audience is alot more business based. Also, this seems like it might just be a desperate attempt at too little too late recapturing the market. This is like the first mention of blackberry I've heard in years

One of the things I'm deciding is that I don't want to compete in the big markets like Android and Apple. Something like Blackberry might be better because there are fewer people competing and customers are more eager to buy.

    PS: I just bought Spriter!

PPS: Your joke is really funny!
