HTML5 Game Showcase

Fellow C2 fans, I'd like to announce a little project I've been working on. I've worked on different HTML5 game projects with different developers, many have created truly awesome games with nowhere to showcase them.

I want to change that.

I'm in the process of building a portal for indie HTML5 games (perhaps some support for flash and other common formats). I can't go into too much detail, but I will say this. We love indie developers, and we will host your game for free. If we grow, that's free exposure and hosting for C2 projects, something I've been wanting since I started with Construct.

Any takers?

Well there are a couple of things you need to keep in mind..

There are several portals out there that will host your game and pay you back a small percentage in ad-revenue.

We already have Scirra Arcade if we want to upload our games for free.

Essentially, the goal is to one day pay out based on ad revenue, but this isn't feasible at launch. Additionally, the Scirra Arcade which is useful in its own right doesn't exactly court gamers who aren't involved with C2.

The goal is to create a showcase, a springboard for super small and new developers, not the next Kongregate. The final site will function like a blog, showing off new games, instantly playable from within the website.
