I enjoyed this game and it was quite well done. Is there a desktop version available?

Thanks a lot, Marius87! Cryptwalker, there's currently not a desktop version, but maybe I should publish one?
Anyway, I've updated the game in several ways: There are a couple of new sound effects and particle effects, and I've fixed some game breaking bugs. Play it here: http://hurbo.pitebros.com

Very cool game!
Gameplay, gfx, menu, introduction , controls - everything works/looks like charm!

The only thing i would ask is to reduce the sound of the textbox by ~50%?

Really really cool. Maybe you can tell me how did you made the Animation at the start. I mean the intro.
My Project at this time: robottory-2d-platformer-devlog_t190807

Good suggestion, mercuryus, I've turned the text volume down a bit now.
Cryttexx: Do you mean the Star Wars hyper driver-like graphical effect? I just have a bunch of star objects that I rotate toward the same point. Then for each tick, I stretch them out a bit:
Code: Select all
WarpStar.width * 1 + (Timer^2 / 10000)

Finally, I start moving all stars away from the same point.

First of all, sorry for bumping my own thread. The site (http://hurbo.pitebros.com) has been down for quite a while, but now it's back up, so I thought I'd let you guys know :)
