I am having a few issues with my project.

Get help using Construct 2

1. My character doesn't do his melee animation when walking but does when standing still.

2. How do I get the enemies and the character to knockback when they take damage. For the enemy I want it to get knocked back when hit by melee attack.

3. The running and shooting animation doesn't fully play when I run and shoot. It twitches between the running animation, and the running and shooting animation.

Although the enemy kind of teleports back it works. Now I have to fix the issues with the sword animation.

You can always use lerp to have the knockback smoothed.

Your animation problem looks like the "standard" issue when controlling animations. A sprite can only play one animation at a time. So if the walking animation is playin, the melee wont....stop walking, play melee, resume walking....or have a walking melee animationWeishaupt2012-03-07 17:30:35
