I followed the Ghost Shooter tutorial, and it provided all the graphics I needed - in the tutorial. I simply had to right-click the images and save them, and then import them into the editor. Or you could perhaps open an example project?
Best way to start is by downloading images from the internet onto your desktop. Then just drag them into construct 2. To make your own images, I recommend Photoshop. But to be honest, I would just use internet sprites until your game is half decent.
@dweebgamer No need to start off by trying to make your own graphics or by scouring the web for sprite packs!
The Construct 2 free edition also comes with a free graphics bundle (freebundle.zip) that includes this folder path: \Sprites\Space\Backgrounds, and that folder has the missing Background.png file that stumped you. In the email you were sent with your licence file it should also have a link to download these extra resources.
I am having this same problem, and I do not see this freebundle.zip, nor do I have a link to download these resources in the email that I recieved when i bought the personal edition. What am I supposed to do to get said graphics?
