Immovable Attribute in Physics

Get help using Construct 2

Post » Thu Oct 13, 2011 4:43 am

Hello everyone

New user here, just trying out construct 2 to see what it's currently capable of and from what I have seen, it looks very promising. Feels much cleaner than MMF2 events. I have a question I would like to ask, is there any way to set attributes in the actions event sheet?

For example I would like to create a bridge using lots of bricks, to stop them falling when the game starts the immovable attribute function needs to be set to "No". However if I want the bridge to collapse using physics when a key is pressed, what do I do? Since I can't seem to set the immovable attribute in the actions event sheet.

Thank you in advance

Kind Regards

So why would you want it to collapse on a key event? Wouldn't you want them to collapse whenever the player walks over them or something?

Some actions to set physics properties have been added to the next build.

It was just an example, when testing I find it easier to use key events.

Thanks for the quick response Ashley.

@ventzx, just FYI, the latest build (r62) is up now with those features.
