I make HTML5 games for a living. During the past 2 months I've generated an online income of $27,271. I wanted to share my online income reports to inspire others who want to make games commercially.

While I use GameMaker Studio, Scirra is heavily vested in HTML5 and I know of others who are making commercial HTML5 games using Construct.

You can read my online income report for November 2013 here

Seeing numbers like this, it is clear that this is a legitimate market with real supply and demand. I hope this post inspires you to seriously look at commercial HTML5 game development.True Valhalla2014-01-10 05:52:11

Grats. Love the book. Has a lot of insightful comments :) keep up the good work :) I'm inspired. I'm trying to shift from wage slave to the point of making enough to get by. Then up from there :)

Thanks. I appreciate it. Though I find a difficult part is coming up with quick fun template games. Saying that I love the little rogue like dungeon one. I found that addicting.

Heh, saw the topic title and thought 'this is either spam or True Valhalla has done it again'. Glad it's the latter, great work mate!

@Cybrknight does it really matter that much?

It's awesome to see someone making a living with HTML5 no matter what tool they use (and the continued investment into the technology we will see from others noticing their success).

Almost every discussion we have in life is to persuade or advertise something, even if it's just to make them appreciate your opinion or creations you're performing a transaction.
"Construct 4 lets YOU make advanced games! (but not play them)" Construct Classic - Examples Kit Dropbox is a pile of trash and if you need my old files PM me! :)

I don't know if this post is welcome after the cold reception above, but I've just shared my December online income report:

http://www.truevalhalla.com/blog/online-income-report-020-december-2013/

During December I earned a total of $14,704 solely online, up $2,137 from November.

In the past 2 months alone, Ive made a total of $27,271 online, mostly from HTML5 games.

Thanks for the comments, and for reading.
