inertia for space ship

For questions about using Classic.

Post » Fri Feb 19, 2010 2:35 am

I have spin and power, but how do I add inertia so the ship keeps coasting in the direction of power.

I do not want it to travel in the direction of the mouse, but in the direction of its facing, and coast to a stop.

Any help?

Thanks

I think I go it, but the movement is too space realistic for my purpose.

Going to make up a movement more Sci-fi. Or should I say SyFy? LOL

How about using Custom movement instead of physics?

Of course, that's in the case you don't need realistic bounces. You can have decent bounces without physics, but not really really realistic.

=(

It would appear I started a new blank project, then opened your example, made something AWESOME and then saved. Which saved the blank project that I wasn't working on.

Woo - hoo.

EDIT: FIX0RED, download again.
