I was wondering if this was possible for the new site/forum. You know that chat box thing you see around the side of the page when you go to a video streaming site especially Anime Streaming sites? I was hoping we could have that kind of thing here. Maybe on the side of this site. Its just because not all of us "CAN" probably install iRC or even run the Chat! function on the site (Because its blocked on my office ). So anyway, just asking it if was possible.

Thanks for the suggestion, we will consider it. Did you know there is a link to a Scirra chat room at the top? Click `Chat!` to head over to it.

Yeah, the Chat! thing above is what I was referring to that was being blocked in my office. So I dunno if putting a chat box in the same forum page will have the same effect or may have a miracle and won't get blocked :P.

Also, its for people who don't really stay too long on the forums but just pass by to look at things real quick.

Anything to make chat more active would be welcome. Its usually a bunch of idlers with the occasional me coming in asking if anyone is not idle.

I would come to chat more but my English skills are not really great, I am mostly slow at forming English sentences and then I spend minute or two proofreading it, so I just limit myself to the forums since I don't have to reply instantly.

@Lucid: How did you get that sig? Is there some rep limit for that? I really want one since it was the only way to drive traffic to my blog. :P

Umm I think we might put a max height on sig images like we had before. Pet peeve of mine is tonnes of vertical scrolling to read tiny fragments of text. Think there will be a 50px height limit in the near future!

@shinkan: I can understand English easily, but writing it( and checking the grammar each time) is really tiring.

To be honest i don't think there's a need for 100% perfect grammar. I've seen that (and that was really annoying at beggining) when i was living in England few years ago. Foreign people used simple sentences all the time and been able to communicate easly.

Somewhere in the profile section. Just check all the things it let's you set. Not sure if there's a rep limit tho...if there was..I guess I met it :)

I think there may have been, in the form of scrollbars. I know I had to shrink it because of scrollbars...may have been horizontal tho...don't remember
