Unfortunately it's on ice at the moment, I'm sorry :( I'm working on something else which should be out soonish. I know how important the arcade is to a lot of people, and how it's really not up to the mark at the moment!

@Ashworth If I spent a ton of time making a high quality game that I intended on selling, why would I put it in Scirra arcade for free? I think this is why you see less polished games on there; people generally want to be reimbursed for spending large amounts of time working on something. IMO the Scirra arcade is a great place to demo ideas, test, or give away games that you aren't trying to monetize. There are also a lot of entry level people starting out and playing around with construct as their first game engine. You can't just expect AAA games from it without having experience.

At the end of the day you are going to be limited by your own skills. CS2 is a great entry level tool and part of that means you get people that are either new to the scene or just want to get their hands dirty. Nothing wrong with that mind you. At the very least it's safe code.

There are actually several games I have come across that are in Google play or other game markets. I am currently in the process of making a game I plan to release to mobile markets myself. I would say it is worth it.

Absolutely agreed - even for professional products.

I have a business license because I use it as a freelancer and see its incredible potential. Especially now that mobiles are getting GPU-accelerated WebGL. A whole new world of possibilities are going to be opened up when this happens.
