Is it possible to create a physics game like Tricky Towers? I can't seem to figure out the physics as I keep getting an error when placing down more pieces. I don't want to disable physics once the tetris blocks are set as I need the tower to lean. However, not sure if that's possible, but I still get the error when changing blocks to immovable when being placed.

Looks possible. Try manual angled gravity if the default physics don't work for you.

The error is probably related to over lapping collision boxes. If you lock a sprite with physics in place and there is overlap in the collision boxes it will throw an error every time.

So.....

You either need to leave blocks unlocked so their natural physics works which probably has sprites jumping around or turn off physics and lock them in place.
