Is it possible to make game like that with Construct 2

Get help using Construct 2

Hi all,

I'm considering Construct 2 as an option to create a game for recycling company. The game is targeted for children age 4 to 6 and the mechanics have to be the same like here :
funnygames.in/game/recycle_roundup.html
Construct 2 is 2D, so can you do that depth for the character to walk? Is it possible to make a character picking objects and dropping them inside the containers?

Thank you

Yes, recycle roundup is 2D too, so no problem..

Ok.. So it's 2.5D, which is faked 3D in a 2D enviroment..

Example of 2.5D made with Construct2
(use the arrow keys to move)
I told my dentist I had trouble with my teeth and asked her to fix it without looking in my mouth..

Ok, thanks. How do you make the character to go in perspective? So far from the tutorials I read I see only that characters move in solid platforms and they can jump. Could you tell me what mechanics do I need to do that? Thank you very much again.

It consists of setting the size of the character depending on it's y-position..
