Is it worth buying Construct 2 at this moment?

Hello,

I'm looking to get into mobile game development and C2 looks like a great tool.

However I've read that C3 has been announced one year ago this worries me a bit since I do not want to buy the tool

if there's going to be a new version next month or so.

I'm also wondering about the monetization options with C2 for mobile(android) games.

Is it easy to integrate adds and make use of the google services?

Would be great if someone could enlighten me on this.

there is no release date for construct 3, keep on waiting for construct 3 while not buying construct 2 to unlock all the fun and possibilities

I'm in the same situation here, but it's pretty clear for me.

Should C3 arrive next month (and as it looks it will not):

I'm pretty sure there would be a grace period. And even if not - I think the upgrade will be affordable.

Another option: wait for the Steam summer or winter sale (in the past C2 was in there). But summer is still far away and if you plan to make your game you just have to decide if you can live without groups, export options, ...

Construct 3 is still a long way off, and there will be a great upgrade deal for existing C2 users, so I wouldn't sit around waiting!

Ashley, upgrade deal huh??? would that include personal to business upgrade?? EpicLoot, trust me on this one, get it!
