Is there a way to FOLLOW a forum "post/topic"?

If you have found a bug, or have a suggestion/comment then leave it here

I might be missing something, but is there a way to "follow" a selected forum post/topic? I find myself scrolling back through posts to look for updates on posts I am interested in.

If not, just an idea, maybe this feature could be contained inside the Scirra site (notifications go to my "in box") like "POSTS YOU ARE FOLLOWING". Maybe there could be "tags" as well to help organize, or a project home page - maybe that's what I'm really thinking about, a project/topic home page? I don't know

Thanks!

I'd even settle for a "history" of my own comments, then I could navigate to those posts. Anything like that available? I may be missing something. (Had to scroll back through pages of posts just to find this one again)

Found it!
Found a similar "egosearch"!
1.- go to your profile search:
http://www.scirra.com/forum/search_form.asp?USR=Your%20username
2.- enter your username
3.- select:
Display results as TOPICS

and save the results page

Now you just need to click that link to see if you got new stuff

PS: Weirdly, I just responded to your "Unreal on Mozilla" post - lol - small (internet) world.

Hmm... @California

when I bookmark the search, after a few minutes I get the error message: "Either the search has expired or you do not have permission to run this search."

Any way around this?

I don't think saving the results page is going to work, but you can do the search for your forum posts any time. If you want results which *don't* expire, although you'll get a list of each individual mention rather being broken down by thread, you can use google, and conduct the following search:

site:http://www.scirra.com/forum randomexile

If you bookmark the results page, google will just display the updated results every time you visit it.

Yeah well that doesn't replace an actual "follow topic" feature still

Yeah, it's not really the best solution.
