Here's a dumb question: how do I use these spritesheets from Kenney? I'm trying to load them as Tilemaps in C2, but I don't know what to put as the X/Y size (70x70?), X/Y offset or X/Y spacing. This is a fantastic set but I'd just like to be able to use it as a tilemap if possible.

Has anyone figured this out and can point me in the right direction?

Good news! The most popular assets of mine are now added to the Free Bundle, downloadable here on Scirra.com!

Read all about it here:

@Kenney any chance you can add items like segments of rope, chain, etc... Little details like that would be of great help especially if the aesthetic matches your existing packs.

Love your work! Been following your contributions on OpenGameArt.org Once I got the newsletter saying your sprites where part of the free bundle I immediately downloaded the bundle, even do I already have most of them, to see what size they where going to be.

I've always read and was told that sprites should be "Power of 2", yet you never seam to follow that rule. Is there a reason why you don't follow this rule? What's your take on this.

@JPBreau

Its not as big a deal on most modern machines, and luckily C2 takes care of that for you as it makes the sprite sheets it exports to the nearest power of 2.
Obviously it would be in your best interest to makes your assets tile to those constrains.
Also Kenny has supplied the vector version of most things so cropping them to your own needs is not that hard.
