[QUOTE=qster] Hey Anthony,

Yep I played this on the arcade! :)

I would like to make a couple of suggestions though, when the characters are talking sometimes the text overlaps, happens to me in both FF and Chrome. It would be nice to click to continue as well, instead of waiting for the next bit of text to appear. Sometimes the collision with objects seems a bit harsh.

Other than that I think you've done a great job, look forward to seeing the next installment! :)

@qster: Thanks for all your recommendations.

I will update the game considering them. You are right to say that I should add the possibility to pass the text by click or sometihing. And, could you give an example when the collision is a bit harsh ?

Thanks. By the way, did you finish the game? I have the impression that I created really difficult riddles and I don't want that :/

@valkyriegames
Thanks a lot for your comment. I will be please if you try the game and leave me some feedback since we both use the PlanetCute graphics.

I'm about to upload the first update of the game. I realized I made a lot of mistakes and there are so much stuff I would like to improve. I don't know how to correctly use global variables. I used them all the time and it's not a good way to do stuff.

Anyway, feel free to tell me what you think of the game.

@basspenguin
Thanks a lot for your comment. I was able to reproduce that bug.
I will fix that ASAP. I didn't think of that case because the player is not supposed to play with the key

. My bad.

Hey Anthony,

I really like the framework you are building in this game. The way the character moves is pretty smooth, tying in the RPG elements is done well. The music is fantastic.

The thing that I disliked the most was waiting for the chat to continue (I am on the impatient side - so for me this was game breaking unfortunately). I was waiting a good 3 or 4 seconds for some text to pass (makes it worse if you click to try and speed it up because all that text gets overlapped). Maybe you should make an event to clear the text before you go on with the next lines?

When this is done ill come back and play again for sure.

@GenkiGenga

Thanks a lot for your comment, GenkiGenga.

You are not the first one to tell me there is an issue with the text so I have to solve this issue ASAP. I should also consider people who don't like to wait for the chat to finish (And I'm also on that side )

Actually I made my first update yesterday and I'm waiting for scirra's approval. But I only added the WASD controls for the player and I also edited the map so that it will be more easy to move.

I'm thinking of an easy way to manage the dialogs and give the possibility to the player to skip them. I'm very glad you loved the music. I spent a lot of time looking for some great music for a RPG.anthonykojima2012-03-14 04:22:22
