Layout Per Level?

Get help using Construct 2

Post » Fri May 10, 2013 8:41 am

Basically, I'm making a game which is broken up into 50 some levels, which in the beginning take under a minute to complete,

My question is, do I need to create a new layout for EACH and EVERY level/Spawn each object individually at a set coordinates on one layout?

All my events will apply to ALL levels, unless I use events to spawn in the objects.

Is their an easier way to go about this?

You would have an event sheet for each level. This would cover certain aspects of that level. For example a boss fight.

You would then just include your "Engine" event sheet at the top by right clicking and select "Include Event Sheet". This way you write the events, physics, ui and so on, only once.Tekniko2013-05-10 08:47:21

I understand that.
That's not my problem.

What I'm asking is do I need to make 50 layouts for 50 Levels, or Is their an easier way?

For the game I'm developing I'm using a layout for each level.
I think it is the easier way to find bugs and others issues.
