  • Hello Everyone, <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

I know this is quite a stupid question, but I want to know the answer that if it is possible to make some kind of simple Live Wallpaper with C2. I know that C2 is a power full tool to make games in seconds. That's why I was wondering to know if we can do this little thing with C2 or not.

Please Guys Help me out and let me know if there is a way to make the Live Wallpapers or not. <img src="smileys/smiley4.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

I have so many questions but just want to search it in forum first, if I don't find than I will ask here.

    Thanks in advanced.

    Bye bye take care.

  • Try Construct 3

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • yes ... I guess ... I don't know , I think you should try another language in case it can't !

Greg Kovalski , CEO of Unity ( Is that even his name ?)

  • I doubt it :(

Those live walpapers are not only coded in Java, but they reference Android native code directly which is not possible as far as I know. The only ways or creating an android app using C2 is to use PhoneGap, CocoonJS or Clay.IO (have i missed any?), and I know for a fact that Clay.IO does not export live wallpapers.

Then again, I bet there is someone in the C2 community that would make an exporter for a Live Wallpaper, but for that to happen, we have to implement exporting HTML5/CSS3/JS directly to Android first from the C2 environment, without a middleman. When this is done, then it's almost certain that Andorid Live Wallpapers will follow almost immediately.

But for now, I don't think it's possible, unless someone has found a way how. Sorry about that :( it would be an awesome feature as well...

  • Thanks Whiteclaws and marlon667 for help and reply,<img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

Yep marlon you are right , that making live wallpaper will be even cool and nice with C2. Since I have search the net and found that the live wallpaper software will cost from 50 - 100 dollars , So if C2 can make it , than it will be very nice and good. <img src="smileys/smiley17.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

The reason is that I have just think about some wall papers which I cannot found in the market , that's why I want to make one. <img src="smileys/smiley4.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

    Thanks in advanced <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" />
