Local Variables in Debugger

Get help using Construct 2

Post » Wed Oct 09, 2013 4:32 pm

Maybe I'm not seeing it or perhaps it isn't possible, but how do I look at the values of local variables from the debugger? I could just temporarily make it global to analyze it's value, but that doesn't seem right to me.

Please advise.

It's an oversight - the debugger doesn't support viewing them right now! Hopefully we'll be able to correct this in a future build...

I'm able to view static local variables in the debugger. It makes sense that non-static variables would not show up since they'll be reset and you wouldn't have the time to see it.

Not if you set a break point and increment step by step.
