  • I've been throwing my fishnet out on the internet for the last month, but didn't catch much more than some apologies for not having the time.

First have a look at this:

    Leaving Nic's Vegas

Two months ago I broke my arm and in the process my hand was partially paralized. Working on the graphical side of this game, which depends heavily on the graphics, became impossible. Although I kept myself busy with less graphically dependent game-creation, I would still love to finish this game.

    So here's my question:

Would anyone be interested in helping me in the creation of "Leaving Nic's Vegas"?

  • Because of the overwhelming amount of reactions in this topic, I will not be able to answer every one of them personally. I've tried hiring people to answer them for me, but got just as many reactions to that question as reactions in this topic.

I guess this game was meant to never be made.

    Thanks for reading though..

  • Hey, I'm sorry about this not getting any response.

I just tried it, and it's really quite interesting. Featuring Nicholas Cage as a character was really a daring move. Unfortunately, I'm busy with my projects at the moment and won't be able to assist you.

Will your arm never be healed?

  • Hi Rory,

    Thanks for your response.

My arm is healed fortunately and in the coming months I will undergo therapy to make the most of my drawing-hand. I will probably never have the precision to draw or paint again, but I will try.

Luckily I can still create folders, flyers and posters and an occasional logo. This game is just too dependant on graphics for me to make something out of it at the moment and probably in the future too. That's why I posted this thread, because I believe it could be great fun if completed.

  • what are your plans for the game in the long run, is the game a talk based rpg? will there be Nic like action if any? Alittle more info might help.

  • You should always teach your left arm what the right one knows and right arm what the left one knows. It's not fun to train but most people have two arms and only use one.

    I like your project and I would like to see it ready. <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" />
