Looking to Put Together a Team

Looking to build a team or have a job to offer?

Post » Thu Aug 22, 2013 9:29 pm

Hello everyone. First post here, but I've been a lurker on the forums for a long time now and have been using Construct Classic for a year now, every day, trying to master it. I now believe I have what it takes to create a fully-fledged game. The only problem is that I can't do it on my own, as I lack the necessary skills needed to create an incredible game worthy of my own tastes.

So I'm looking to put together a team that can work together to create mind-blowing games using Construct Classic. Why use Construct Classic instead of Construct 2? Well, the answer is simple, really. HTML5 gaming is great and everything, and while producing a few free-to-play HTML5 games would be great, the Windows executable platform is where my heart truly lies. And, to be honest with you guys, I don't have extra money to throw around at Construct 2, when Construct Classic suits me perfectly fine.

The name under which the games will be published will be voted on by members of the development team, as well as any major decisions. Everybody will have access to up-to-date copies of all of the cap files just to ensure that nobody feels this is a rip-off (you know, first time poster and all, oh yes and this will be done via DropBox).

This is primarily a volunteer recruitment, but the games will be sold if their quality merits doing so and all profits will be split equally between all team members.

I am currently planning a game, but am open to any and all suggestions. By the way, I can do moderately good programming in Construct Classic. Nothing spectacular, but good enough to produce a decent, playable (albeit graphically ugly, soundless and short) game.

If anyone is interested, drop me a reply or hit me up via PM. I look forward to hearing from all of you.

Feel free to ask any questions.

Good day.

It's amazing how people underestimate the potential of C2

CC was a hobby project , C2 is everything ( almost , and they keep adding stuff each 2 weeks !) in CC but the unstability , and guess what ?

CC native .exe exporter scored less than C2 nodewebkit's .exe wrapper

I would highly recommend you migrate to C2 , but whatev. mate !

Finally , if you have any past finished games , don't be afraid to show us

At the end , you'll probably end up with more volunteers if you show people that they can count on you

Cheers !

@Fudgeman,
I'm looking to join a team, but if so, I have a lot of concerns that are never really addressed in team-up posts. However, if you can develop a CC wrapper to port and work on the OUYA platform, I may join you.

@Whiteclaws still looking for artists?
