Don't look at me xD
I'm glad someone is doing something and I would like to be a part of it.
I was only saying that this kind of things should not be "fixed" by us :)

btw. I got another one.

I tried to see if there's a problem like this on my game Star Nomad, and I don't seem to have this bug. Tested on Macbook Air 2013 (the only MAC I have access to) with the trackpad as well as USB mouse and it runs really smooth.

I did have users report to me that the game would crash on older Macbooks from 2009, which I presume to be the older integrated Intel GPU back in those days were horrible and probably no longer supported via drivers. This, I am OK with, because even on PCs, AMD & NV no longer support older video cards like the 5800 or GTX8800 and 200 series which are only ~5 years old!

The game is on Desura (http://www.desura.com/games/star-nomad-rpg-rts-sandbox), here's a few keys for my fellow C2 devs, feel free to test it out on your MACs. :D

This is probably just a node-webkit bug which will hopefully be fixed soon. No need to run around in a panic. I'll look in to it and see if I can make a more useful direct report to the node-webkit devs.

Thanks Ashley.

Ya, no reason to go crazy over a bug or two.

But that's not all of the issues. What about NW not working on mac and linux properly yet? And what about those random freezes when running exported build?

@Ashley

Would it be possible to add an option to export with different versions of node-webkit? So that, if a newer version breaks functionality, we can use an older one? Maybe it could be a dedicated export option: Node-Webkit Custom, with a description warning 'Scirra cannot guarantee functionality on older versions of node-webkit.'.

I agree with you guys that it's a serious issue, but no need to mock Ashley. It does sound like a bug within Node-WebKit.

If you didn't already, you could also report the bug at Node-WebKit web site or start a thread at their discussion forum. You could send them the compiled apps so they could analyze it. Maybe it's related to certain Mac OS X versions, or maybe you could find certain input types or projects that give no lag that could help them solve the bug.

The other issues of Node-WebKit, what are those exactly? I'm interested as I'm also developing games for NW.

I do like TiAm's idea of being able to use previous Node-WebKit versions. It would be a useful feature for released apps.
