make a endless fall down game

Get help using Construct 2

Hey,

I've been trying to make a basic protype of the fall down game, the ball must fight against the up moving platforms to obtain the highest score possible.

I wanted to know whats the best way to have the platforms spawn endlessly at a random range for X & Y so the player isnt landing on a platform thats been spawned at the same position & angle.

Any help on this would be much appreciated, heres my example:

Thanks

Instead of destroying them, you can try to re-used them, also, the expression random(a, b) will help you a lot I guess (it generate a random value between a and b, can be non-integers).

This model can be improved by checking the X of the other platforms, to make sure they aren't at the same.

     Hope that will help

EDIT: you can destroy them, and spawn another kind of platform when destroyed alsoAphrodite2013-05-29 21:01:23
Game design is all about decomposing the core of your game so it becomes simple instructions.

I recently made this. Which should be what you're looking for. The ball controls are a bit weird on mine right now though.
